Venue Auditor

During the initial phase of venue assessment throughout 2007, EfA is working with its partners to provide Level 2 venue auditing, using trained auditors in Belgium, Denmark, Greece and Norway (City of Oslo).

In order to ensure that Level 2 assessments meet a high professional standard for venue access auditing, EfA requires that auditors must fulfil certain minimum requirements, including:

  • Have prior experience of access auditing, or undergo training with an EfA partner organisation
  • Comply with the EfA Access Auditors’ Code of Conduct
  • Demonstrate competence to carry out access audits according to the requirements of the EfA Access Auditors’ Training Guideline, and
  • Undergo a 12-month ”probationary period” during which time auditors must show their ability to assess at least five venues using the EfA data collection tools and successfully transfer the accessibility data to the EfA database.

Persons or organisations that wish to seek approval as EfA Access Auditors may apply to EfA ( info[AT]europeforall[DOT]com) for further information.Register as a Venue Auditor
